To my loving brother Lelo Pires, I am devastated by your loss, and so is our father. We are unable to express the pain of your absence. The Lord knows our father and I did everything possible to alleviate your pain after we were informed. We love you, we will miss you, and you will always be in our hearts. We appreciate the recognition of the Pires family's pain and suffering during this time and thank those who have tried to contact us. We turn to the Lord our Savior for peace and serenity during this difficult time. We know the gates of heaven will be opened for you, Lelo. Your uncles, aunts, cousins, and niece are mourning your loss. Our father, Mario Pires, is suffering the most, having been with you until your last breath. You were his world, Lelo! I will be by our father's side until his last breath, remembering the good times we shared as a family. We love you, Lelo, and always will. No one can take that away from us, and no one ever will! Lelo, you and John were best buddies throughout high school. You were such a great guy to hang around with. We enjoyed going to see you play and listening to you sing. I hope you rest easy Lelo! You will be truly missed by so many! My condolences to your mom and dad, your family and everyone who was blessed to know you!

I'm sorry Lelo!! My favorite memory of you is when my mom gave you your first set of drums for Christmas, and us playing in the attic on Brooklawn Ave, where we started our own band. I'll especially remember us babysitting Lauren and how we had a real baby alive of our own to love and share. I will never forget the kindness and love you showed me, and our first trip to Disney World, when you taught me to shoot the rifle in the arcade. You were very special and kind. That's how I'll always remember you, love you and cherish your memory. Rest in peace Lelo Love Always, Your Stepsister, Nikki
