Hi Robin, I am so sorry for your loss. You may not remember me, but I have so many fond memories of Ed. I lived across the hall from him in Fedigan Hall and was a fraternity brother. I remember meeting you when you came to visit and I was honored to attend your wedding in Corr Hall Chapel. It was such an accomplishment when he completed Quantico and such devastation when he was diagnosed with diabetes. The last time I saw Ed was at the funeral of Jim Berger. I regret not staying in better contact. In college we spent a lot of time listening to the Grateful Dead. Our Friday afternoon routine was to hang with Ed and Jeff St. Amour and Ed would always play Blue Oyster Cult Don't fear the Reaper. I always think of Ed when I hear it. Very glad to see he had the joy of grandchildren. My sincere condolences, Steve Gibbons

Robin, My deepest condolences to you and your family. Losing a loved one, especially a spouse, way too early in life is very difficult. When I heard about this yesterday, I was shocked! I have lost too many friends and loved ones to early in their life. I will tell you that when I heard the news, it sparked all the great memories I had back in the Data Switch days. It was a great time in our lives and Ed was a big part of that. Ed will be missed, but always fondly remembered by all of us. I know there are no words that I could say to take the pain away. I will keep you and the family in my prayers and keep Ed in my memory for life. May Ed rest in peace.
