Dear Annette and family, we were very sorry for the loss of a great husband, father, and friend. Mike was a true gentleman. His love for family and friends was always present. He helped countless people both in his professional and personal life. He was a leader. he always lead by example. Mike will be missed by an enormous amount of people whose lives he touched. May his love and compassion be with you at this time of sorrow. Eternal Rest Grant on to him O Lord and may the Perpetual Light Shine Brightly Upon Him. May he Rest in Peace.,

I am proud to call Mike a friend for 20+ years. We spent much time together both in business and personally at countless dinners, sporting events and even the Opera. I think his best attribute was his humor… I can’t remember a time we were together that he didn’t make me crack up. He was an awesome father and husband and I just can’t believe he is gone.
Rest In Peace my friend…you will never be forgotten.

Noi vi siamo vicini … we are very close ❤️

Michael you stood up for us 30 years ago as our BEST MAN and in my eyes you have always been the BEST MAN always there to help, always open up your home to everyone, always having parties (family picnics) to keep the family together and making sure we all stayed in touch. Family was your middle name! I have so many great memories of the times we spent together and I will cherish all of them but the ones from years ago when you and Annette first got married and lived on Burnsford Avenue we were there all the time and spent so many weekends laughing and eating and taking off for Atlanic City in the middle of the night to lighting the fireplace and smoking up the whole apartment. The best was the midnight runs to Drum Stick Barbecue for ribs and Ketucky Fried Chicken for the Honey wings! Thank you for always treating me like family I will miss you terribly!

Another fun memory were all the Halloween parties when the all the kids were little. Michael and Annette’s specialty was/ is hosting. The kids would go trick or treating with the dads as all the moms and aunts were back at the house having their own fun. It was fun cousins raising their cousins together.

Michael, or Tom Selleck as I would like to call him, was so selfless when Jeff and I purchased our first home. He would come almost every day, including Saturdays, for weeks and weeks to help us, teach us, and guide us on how to remodel our first kitchen. Jeff and I were brand new in our marriage and brand new home owners. It was overwhelming needless to say…. but Michael was calm. He really enjoyed helping us. It came from his heart. We followed his lead with every suggestion. He made it so easy for us. He wanted nothing in return. All that time and work for 2 clueless newlyweds. But that was Michael, he was all about family. All he asked for was for some coffee haha.
He was an amazing cousin and we will
miss him dearly. We love you!
Love always and forever, Jenn and Jeff Moreira
