Dearest Marge (Mai) - you have left behind a beautiful legacy and precious memories...and a deep void.
Fred and you being next door was such a wonderful comfort to us. For Claire and Noah , Fred (Abu) and Marge (Mai) were like their grandpa and grandma away from home. You constantly checked on our well being and made sure the kids were loved and appreciated. We will miss you terribly but we know that you are in one of those beautiful rooms that Jesus promised us about in John 14:2 and we also know that you are enjoying eternal bliss and that you are praying for us. We love you Marge.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Love and prayers,
Anthony, Priya, Claire and Noah

I have so many great memories of holidays, birthdays and anniversaries celebrated with Aunt Margaret and her family. She was a consummate entertainer - any of these occasions would be marked with wonderful food, a beautifully decorated home and a gorgeously set dining room table. As the "hostess with the mostess" - these parties would be punctuated with a speech, or a story told by my always entertaining aunt.
I was also so lucky to spend many a summer vacation with my aunt in some cool house she had rented in Maine for the summer. What an adventure! Whether it was delicious pancakes and creamy scrambled eggs for breakfast, lunch and dinner would also be amazing. However, the best part was the whole family sitting at the table telling stories, planning the day’s activities, watching the hummingbirds in the garden, or figuring out the next meal. Regardless, those times were some of the happiest of my childhood.
I couldn’t be more grateful that we were loved and included. I believe she was ensuring I had as the same kind of warm memories as she did as a child at her aunt’s place in Round Top NY.
I will miss you dearly Aunt Margaret. Until we meet again.

Memory of Grandma reading me a bedtime story in Maine. We loved to read, walk, swim, and feed the birds together at Crystal Lake.
