Barry was a mentor during my tenure at Norden. We bonded over a simple lunchtime backgammon game that became a friendship of 28 years. We enjoyed dinners in Westport and Newtown with Nick and "walked" our cigars enjoying the night breezes and raucous laughter (thanks to Nick's jokes). At the end of the evening, there was always a group hug wishing all good health. We hoped it would last forever.....
