On behalf of Girl Scouts of Connecticut, we offer our condolences for the passing of your loved one, who was a sister in Girl Scouting. Her dedication to girls was remarkable and respected by all. We offer you our sincerest thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

My heart is broken hearing she is gone. Her home was always open for dinner if you stopped by and were never refused her loving arms to hug you with love.
This was in my Mother's condolence book when she passed and I'd like to share it with you at this time of morning.
She is home in heaven, dear ones,
Oh, so happy and so bright;
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
She is now at peace forever,
Safely home in heaven at last.
And He came Himself to meet Her
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on
Could She have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For She loves you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's Will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth -
You shall rest in ]esus' land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
All my joy to see you finally,
All of us, together at Home.

Dear Family and Friends,
I will never forget Mrs. Myers and her love for children. I once did a biography on her when I began my career under Mrs. Cortez. I had found pictures of Iona in the historical section of the Bridgeport Public Libraty. All of my kids enjoyed reading about a wonderful woman who was at their school almost every single day reading to different classes.
She was a woman who was filled with love for all. May God bless you all and fill you with the promise that she is now with her Heavenly Father watching over all of you.
With love,
Michelle Amaranto
