Obituary of Joseph J. Mesarich

Joseph J. Mesarich, age 82, of Trumbull, a retired zoning official for the city of Bridgeport with 39 years of service, died on Saturday, June 14, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on February 10, 1926, he was a son of the late Mary Mesarich and a U. S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Lillian Ferland Mesarich, two stepchildren, William Colocchio and his wife Deborah of Waterbury and Linda Petrin and her husband Jeffrey of MA, two nieces, Michelle Macary of Wolcott and Angela Reinstein of NC, four grandchildren, Radley Manzo, Nile Recchia, Danielle and Lucas Colocchio and six great grandchildren, Isabella, Sydney, Hannah, Riley, Caprice and Cameron. He was predeceased by a sister Mary Mastriano. All funeral services were private.
