Obituary of Louis M. Mennillo

Louis M. Mennillo, age 66, of Bridgeport, loving husband of Theresa Montanaro Mennillo, died on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at his home. Born in Bridgeport on January 3, 1947, he was a son of Maria (Mary) Vitello Abraham of Bridgeport and the late Louis C. Mennillo. He was a retired employee for the Town of Milford, having worked for the sanitation department. A U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran he was a member of American Legion Post 177. Louis was a very hardworking man, who always put the needs of others before his own. But above all he truly enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren. He was dedicated to the love and care of his family and will always be remembered for his generous and compassionate nature. He was predeceased by his infant son, Louis M. Mennillo Jr. He is survived by his five children, a son, Louis J. Mennillo of Bridgeport, four daughters, Stacy Musbek and her husband Frank of Seymour, Rosamond (Roz) Eschert and her husband Will Montanez of Stratford, Kelly A. Mennillo of Stratford and Tiffany L. Mennillo of Bridgeport; along with ten grandchildren, Louis P. Mennillo, Ryan, Amanda and Cory Musbek, Devin Starr, Josilyn (Minor) Mennillo, Lylith Gill,Trinity Rogers, Nevaeh McClellan, and Mah-Niyah Langston. He also leaves to cherish his memory, a brother, Charles Mennillo and his wife Donna, a sister Elaine McCarthy both of Bridgeport, Aunts Tessie Vitello, Ann Carrono and Angelina Zelle, dear friends Stan Kaminskas and Bob Marcinczyk as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial with Full Military Honors.
