Obituary of Lorraine E. McAuliffe

Lorraine E. McAuliffe, age 81, of Stratford, a retired executive secretary for Emhart Corp., died Friday, June 25, 2004 in Bishop Wicke Health Care Center, Shelton. Born in Bridgeport on November 29, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Mildred Blue Zehner. A lifelong Stratford resident, she was the wife of the late Gerald J. McAuliffe. Survivors include two devoted daughters, Betty Jane Berchem and her husband, Ray of Monroe and Kathleen Benedict and her husband, Ken of Watertown, six cherished grandchildren, Amy Koch, Melissa Rodrigues, Jacqueline Wing, Jennifer Gwizd, Dawn DAndria and Raymond Berchem, Jr., nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 28, 2004 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m.
