Obituary of Joseph Mastroni

Joseph Mastroni, age 79, of Shelton, a certified public accountant, died Saturday, November 13, 2004 in St. Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Fairfield and raised in Bridgport, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Maria Veckerelli Mastroni, and was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran. Mr. Mastroni was a graduate of the University of Connecticut, and formerly taught accounting at the University of Bridgeport. He was member of the Connecticut C.P.A. Association for over 50 years.

Survivors include his beloved wife Pauline Camerino Mastroni, three loving sons, Patrick Mastroianni and his wife Linda of Woodbridge, Lawrence Mastroni and his fiance Leta Murray of Norman, Oklahoma and Kenneth Mastroni and his wife Kelly of Guilford, a brother, Nicholas Mastroni of Stratford, three cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth Mastroianni, Daniel and Kyle Mastroni, and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Guy Panelli. 

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday November 17, 2004 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will be announced. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
