Obituary of Virginia Bepko

Resident of Bridgeport Virginia Reinwald Bepko, age 80, of Bridgeport, died peacefully after a courageous battle on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in Bridgeport Manor. Born in Jackson Heights, NY on July 16, 1931, she was a daughter of the late William and Helen Plower Reinwald. A graduate of Warren Harding High School, she was formerly employed by St. Vincents Medical Center. She was pre-deceased by a brother William Reinwald and a sister, Mary Matthews. Survivors include her beloved children, Robert Bepko Jr. and his wife Margie of Milford, Bill (Tippy) Bepko and his wife Judy of Monroe, Debra Hobson and her husband Wayne of Shelton, Gerard (Jerry) Bepko and his wife Christine of Monroe and Douglas Bepko of Shelton. Affectionately known as Nana she leaves her grandchildren, Amy Lynn Bepko-Mazzocchi and her husband Michael, Megan Lahar and her husband Kevin, Michelle Bepko, Ashley Martin and her husband Brian, Michael Bepko, Wayne Hobson Jr., McKenzie Bepko, Ryan and Sarah Hobson, Joseph (Joey) Bepko and Caroline Adolfssen, great grandmother to Ethan Mazzocchi and Taigan Lahar. She also leaves two brothers, Harry Reinwald of CA and James Reinwald and his wife Emma of Trumbull as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Bridgeport Manor, especially Joe, the nursing staff at Vitas for all of their special care to our mom and to her son Douglas. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
