Obituary of Livio Marini

Livio Marini, age 67, of Bridgeport, a retired laborer for Union Local #665, died on Wednesday, October 19, 2005 in St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by his family. Born in Torrice, Province of Frosinone, Italy, he was a son of the late Nicola and Elvira Marini. He was a veteran of the Italian Army Military Police. Married in 1961 in Torrice, Italy, he was the beloved husband of Vincenza Marini for 44 years. Mr. Marini enjoyed gardening and working around his house. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be sadly missed.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Angela Stuebben and her husband, Kurt of Hillsborough, NJ, two brothers, Costanzino and Bernardino Marini, both of Italy, one granddaughter, Nicole Stuebben, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Antonio and Domenico Marini. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine,Park Avenue, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday, October 21, 2005 from 4-8 p.m.
