Obituary of Vincent Anthony Marini

Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather Vincent Anthony Marini, age 80, of Monroe, beloved husband of Mary Ann Provenzano Marini, died peacefully on Friday April 16, 2010 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on November 26, 1929, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose Marino Marini and was a U. S. Army veteran. Vincent was the retired owner and operator of the Joseph Marini Upholstery Shop in Bridgeport. In addition to his beloved wife of 53 years, Mary Ann, survivors include three children, Valerie Phillips and her husband James of Monroe, Lori Bauer and her husband Frederick Constantini of Shelton and Joseph Marini and his wife Joann of Stratford, five cherished grandchildren, Vincent and Andrew Phillips, Joe, Alyssa and Skyler Marini. He was predeceased by a sister Joann Rice and brother-in-law Carl Provenzano. Other survivors include sister and brother-in-laws Jane and Anthony Dortenzio, Josephine and Leonard Faccenda, Marie Provenzano and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday April 20, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:15 a.m. until the time of service.
