Obituary of Antoinette Benedetto

Trumbull Resident Antoinette (Toni) Laura Cinotti Benedetto, age 86, of Trumbull, died peacefully Friday, August 7, 2009. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Raffaele and Giovannina Mingioni Cinotti. She was formerly employed by General Electric, St. Vincent Medical Center, Housatonic Paper Supply and the Little Academy Day Care. She was predeceased by siblings, Angelo and Emily Cinotti, Joseph and Kay Cinotti and Allie Aurilio. Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, William (Bill) Benedetto and beloved daughter, Erma (MJ) Benedetto and following siblings that Erma never had that helped care for her from the bottom of their hearts, Scott Sideleau, Rhonda Delitis, Elaine Osowski, Dana Hawk Sister Dickens, Beth Bass, Eric Clamage, Desiree Lewis and several nieces and nephews, Johanna Cinotti, Susan Gerics and her husband Dr. Joseph Gerics and their son, Joseph, Sylvia Wanta and her husband, David and their children, James, Katy and David, Jody Brown and her husband James of Victoria, TX with whom the Benedettos spent time with their family at their winter home, Joan Benedetto, Rose Benedetto, Anna Gargano and several nieces and nephews on the Benedetto side. She was also a second mom to Joan Mossman and her son Nathan of California and Joseph Aurilio and his wife, Mona, Rev. Scott Brown and his wife Kimberley, Kenny Brown and his wife Shannah, and Kevin Brown and his wife Jennifer. The family would like to express appreciation to attorney Marilyn Capozzi, Lenny Capozzi, and social worker, Susan Bores. The family also desires to thank the staff, nurses, aides and everyone at station 20 at St. Joseph Manor were she resided and especially Lisa McDougal for her care. Also, thanks to Dr. Robert Kaufman and Bridgeport Hospital 9th floor ICU staff and Dr. Yousuf Ali for his long time dedicated care and compassion. A special gratitude to Attorney Robert Lesser, Dr. Thomas Cocco and Jay Jasor. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Friday August 14, 2009 at 10:00 in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and 11:00 a.m. in St Theresa Church, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday August 13, 2009 from 4 8 p.m.
