Obituary of William H Marcus
Trumbull Resident
Marcus - William H. Marcus, age 79, of Trumbull, a retired machinist for the Remington Arms Company, died on Friday, October 27, 2006 at his residence. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late William and Rose Fellows Marcus, and was a Trumbull resident over 40 years. Mr. Marcus was a WWll US Navy veteran, and enjoyed gardening and creating whirly-gigs. He was an original founder of the East End Little League, and the last surviving manager. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Midge Murray Marcus, three sons, Robert Marcus and his wife Patricia of Newport News, VA, Kurt W. Marcus of Trumbull and Frank Marcus and his wife Donna of Trumbull, three daughters, Susan Colovolpe-Muir and her husband Tom of North Haven, Debra Redin and her husband Roland of Trumbull and Sandra ONeill and her husband Patrick of Trumbull, 12 grandchildren, Lisa, David, Alison, Christina, James, William, Kurt Robert, Erik, Heather, Rebecca, Brian and Kelly and a great granddaughter, Mikayla. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 10 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment with military honors will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 pm. Donations Information
