Obituary of Joseph S. Marchio

U.S. Marine Corp Veteran Joseph S. Marchio Jr., age 72, of Milford and formerly of Trumbull, beloved wife of Janice Hotchkiss Marchio, died on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Milford Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on November 1, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Filomena Sirianni Marchio. A U.S. Marine Corp Veteran, he was a retired salesman with over 30 years of service for the Northeast Beverage Corp. In addition to his beloved wife of 49 years, Janice, survivors include a son, Joseph Marchio III of Milford, two daughters, Lori Byron and her husband Richard of Trumbull, and Lisa Horton and her husband Paul of Belmar New Jersey, two sisters, Ida Fortuna and her husband Pat of Indianapolis IN and Mary Tarasuk and her husband Harry of Bridgeport, four cherished grandchildren, Justin and Evan Byron and Tara and Michelle Horton, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
