Obituary of Mary M. Mantone

Resident of Bridgeport Mary Lasorso Mantone, age 85, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Liberator R. Mantone, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in Gardener Heights, Shelton. Born in Bridgeport on September 2, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Frances Lanzadore Lasorso. In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by a daughter, Frances Poppa, a sister, Madeline Petroff and four brothers, Michael, Angelo, Vincent and Dominic Lasorso. Survivors include a son, August Mantone and Joan Mantone of Trumbull, a daughter, Marlene Burling and her husband Ward of Seymour, a brother, Frank Lasorso and his wife Susan of Bridgeport, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will take place on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 851 North Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
