Obituary of Victor P. Mangialaschi

Trumbull Resident Victor P. Mangialaschi, age 89, of Trumbull, loving husband of the late Lucille Cirino Mangialaschi, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at his home. Born on December 10, 1921 in Scranton PA, he was a son of the late Vittorio and Maria Mangialaschi and was a United States Army Air Corp. Veteran of World War II. Before his retirement he was a production manager at Warnaco for many years. He was a lifetime member of the Fairfield County Fish and Game Club. Survivors include a daughter, Anne Marie Mangialaschi and her husband Carl Marcucio of Shelton, two grandchildren, Justin and Randi Marcucio; a brother, Val Mangialaschi and his wife Etta of Trumbull, brother-in-law, Henry Cirino of Trumbull, sister-in-law, Caryl Mangialaschi of Scranton PA, and three nieces and one nephew. He was predeceased by a brother, Miro Mangialaschi. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave, Shelton on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. John Cemetery, Stratford.
