Obituary of Elaine P. Fay

Elaine P. Bruno Fay, age 57, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Edward T. Fay Sr., died peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in St. Vincents Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on July 18, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Carmen and Philomena (Mae) Baldino Bruno. Elaine was a retired employee of Waldbaums Supermarket in Bridgeport with over 25 years of dedicated service. Elaine was a loving and giving person, who would always put the needs of others before her own. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, cooking for everyone and all the holidays when the family was together. But above all, she was a loving and caring mother and wife, who cared deeply for her family. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her beloved husband of 39 years, Ed, survivors include two loving and devoted sons, Edward T. Fay Jr., and his wife Danyel of Orange and Eric Fay and his wife Kristyn of Bridgeport, a sister, Barbara Pawlak of Meriden, sisters-in-law, Dori France of Shelton and Michelle Fay of California, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two cherished aunts, with whom she resided with and cared for, Lucy and Ida Baldino. Funeral Information Friends can greet the family at a memorial gathering celebrating her life on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. directly in St. Augustine Cathedral, 359 Washington Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
