Obituary of Anna Bruno Mammone

Lifelong Bridgeport Resident Anna Conte (Bruno) Mammone, age 96, of Bridgeport, wife of the late Lawrence Bruno Mammone, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Maefair Health Care Center in Trumbull. Born in Bridgeport, on December 30, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary Pugliese Conte. Anna was a seamstress for over 70 years and was well liked by everyone she knew. Survivors include a son, Lawrence D. Mammone of Bridgeport, two grandsons, Lawrence and Anthony Mammone, three great grandchildren, Sydney, Joseph, and Giavona Mammone. She was predeceased by sisters, Fifi Lavin, Josephine DeFelice, Palma Garcia, Theresa Rizitelli and a brother, Salvatore Conte. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 3-6 p.m.
