Obituary of William E. Mallozzi

William (Willie) E. Mallozzi, Sr., age 66, of Trumbull and recently of Stamford, the retired owner and operator of Beckley Dry Cleaners of Stamford, died suddenly on Saturday, January 15, 2005 in Bradenton, Florida. Born in Stamford on June 26, 1938, he was a son of the late Ernest and Olympia Marrucco Mallozzi. Willie enjoyed golf, but above all his family brought him the most joy. He will be very sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Elizabeth (Betty) D'Acunto Mallozzi, children, William E. Mallozzi, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Norwalk, Elizabeth Coughlin-Pouyat and her husband, Alan of Trumbull and Christopher Mallozzi and his wife, Kelley of Trumbull, one brother, Raymond Mallozzi of Milford, two sisters, Yolanda Bisaillon and Benedetta LaRocco, both of Stamford, six cherished grandchildren, Danny and Casey Coughlin and Morgan, Michael, Brian and Collin Mallozzi as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 21, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
