Obituary of Virginia Frances Lucivero

Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Virginia Frances Walthers Lucivero, age 84, of Stratford, and formerly of Shelter Island, NY, beloved wife of the late Vito Paul Lucivero, died peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at St. Josephs Manor. Born on October 27, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Cunnigunda Enz Walthers. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will truly be missed. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include a daughter, Raffaela Antonelli and her husband Lawrence V. of Stratford, a son, Michael P. Lucivero of Florida, three grandchildren Elizabeth Foster and her companion John Mansolillo, Heather Hess and her husband Charles and Christine Williams and her husband Brian, five great grandchildren, Patrick, Emily, Christopher, Julia and Jordynn as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly at Our Lady of the Isle Church, 5 Prospect Avenue, Shelter Island, NY on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Emily F. French Memorial Cemetery, Shelter Island. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
