Obituary of Mary Ellen Lubin

Former Trumbull Resident LUBIN Mary Ellen Walsh Lubin, age 83, of Stratford and formerly of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at her home. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Lynch Walsh. A retired employee of the General Electric Company, Mary was proud of her Irish heritage and had a very strong faith. She enjoyed her time volunteering at St. Josephs Manor, traveling and playing bridge, but she truly was at her best when she was with her family and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Peter M. Lubin. Survivors include a brother John Walsh of Norwalk, two nieces, Virginia Kaczmarek and her husband Lawrence of Norwalk and Patricia L. Walsh of Florida, two grand nieces Lauren Ochman and Lindsay Ochman, one grand nephew Ian Michael Ochman and many dear friends. Funeral Information Relatives and Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours.
