Obituary of Julia Bekech

Julia Wasylyshyn Bekech, age 85, of Trumbull, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Ludlowe Health and Rehabilitation Center of Fairfield surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew G. Bekech. Born in Atlas, PA, on March 7, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Katynsky Wasylyshyn. Julia was a longtime proud member of the Ladies Guild of St. Johns Byzantine Catholic Church. Survivors include her children, Ronald J. Bekech and his wife Gynine of Fort Myers, FL, Andrew E. Bekech and his wife Patricia of Huntington, Michael J. Bekech and his wife Paula of Trumbull, Karen A. Hine and her husband Donald of Woodbridge and Maryrose Barker and her husband Jeffrey of Newmanstown, PA, fifteen grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren and Mia Bekech, Julie French, Tanya Allain, James Hine, Jared, Seth, David, Jacob, Nathan, Abigail, Hannah and Joshua Barker and Sarah Waldner, sixteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Ann Foumberg of Bakersfield, CA and Rose Fletcher of Monee, IL, a brother- in-law, George W. Bekech of Trumbull, a sister-in-law, Ann Waslesyn of Chicago, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Aaron Hine. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, Nichols for a Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull.
