Obituary of Marie Catherine Rapillo

Marie Catherine DiCicco Rapillo, age 92, of Ansonia and formerly of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Vincent P. Rapillo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025 with her nephew Anthony by her side. Born in Astoria, New York, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Rose Lomaglio DiCicco. She was a retired employee of Remington Razor. Marie was a loving wife, sister and aunt. She was dedicated to the care of her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her devoted nephew, Anthony Mandolfo Jr. and his wife Cheryl, a great niece, Alyssa Smith and her husband Timothy, a cousin, Barbara Mancini, as well as several additional nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Anthony Mandolfo Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Margaret Shrine, 2523 Park Ave., Bridgeport. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. At Marie's request, there will be no calling hours.
