Obituary of Valerie M. Pelletier

Valerie M. Brady Pelletier, age 87, of Stratford, beloved wife of Ronald Pelletier Sr., passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brewster, New York on May 12, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Leah Grahn Brady. A graduate of Stratford High School, Valerie was a sales clerk for Macy's with over 20 years of dedicated service.

She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her priority, always putting their needs before her own. Valerie treasured when the family was together and her smile would light the room when her grandchildren were by her side. The unconditional love she gave and the values she taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband of 69 years, Ronald, survivors include her three loving sons, Ronald Pelletier Jr. and his wife Angela, Christopher Pelletier and his wife Victoria and Michael Pelletier and his wife Melissa, eight cherished grandchildren, Melissa (Joseph), Nicole (Tom), Victoria (Jeremy), Jake (Alexa), Robyn, Alec, Jack and Cali, four adored great grandchildren, Scarlett, Landon, Carter and Patrick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton, Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
