Obituary of Lucas Paul DeLaurentis

Lucas Paul DeLaurentis, age 8 of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Mineola, NY on December 22, 2016, he was the son of Marc and Elizabeth (Vitale) DeLaurentis.

Lucas was a second-grade student at Middlebrook School in Trumbull where he enjoyed his school days with his many friends and teachers. He loved spending time with his cousins, going on vacation with his family to Cape Cod and visits to Disney World. His spirit, kindness, and strength were beyond measure. He was a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

In addition to his parents Marc and Elizabeth, Lucas is survived by his paternal grandparents, Anthony and Jacqueline DeLaurentis, his maternal grandmother, Joanne (Pam) Vitale, aunts and uncles, Dana DeLaurentis, Joanne Blum and her husband Keith and Marissa Scannapieco and her husband Marc as well as 5 cherished cousins, Zach, Gabby, Ally, Olivia and Juliet.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
