Obituary of Louise K. Behn

Trumbull Resident Louise K. Behn of Trumbull, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Tuesday February 15, 2011 at the home of her daughter in Sharon, CT. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada she became a United States citizen following her marriage to the late John (Jack) H. Behn. They lived in Southport and Fairfield before settling in Trumbull for nearly 57 years. Louise's greatest joy was being a homemaker, wife and loving mother. She was a member of Christ Church Tashua where she participated in the Womens Bible Study group. She volunteered for the American Red Cross blood drives for over 25 years and enjoyed bowling for many years. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Hilda Morley Kell of Fairfield, CT. She is also preceded in death by a brother Harry Kell and a sister Marjorie Rickel. Surviving are a brother, William Kell and his wife Joan of Milford, CT, a sister, Maxine Murray and husband Donald of Trumbull, daughters Karen Nemeth Masley and husband John of Shavertown, PA, Laura DeBoer and husband Arlin of Sharon, CT, and Marjorie Jennings and husband Kevin of Stratford, CT. Also surviving are grandchildren Penelope, Jayson, Lauranel, Megan, Jenny, and Jesse and two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Hunter as well as several nieces and nephews.
