Obituary of Donna Marie LaGaipa

Donna Marie Conlan LaGaipa, age 72, of Bethany, beloved wife of Francis (Frank) LaGaipa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in the comfort of her home in her loving family arms, after a long and courageous battle. Born in New Haven on July 27, 1952, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie Errico Conlan.

Truly an example to all, Donna and Frank were inseparable and they were always together enjoying vacations and Disney with genuine love. Throughout her illness, Frank, two sons and loving caretakers never left her side and was there to love and comfort her.

In addition to her beloved husband of 52 years, Frank, survivors include three loving children, Frank Jay LaGaipa, Lisa Marie LaGaipa (Ron Benedetto) and Michael Paul LaGaipa, two cherished and adored grandsons, Michael and Ryan Benedetto, her cousin, Julie, who was like a sister, as well as several nieces, nephews, additional cousins and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Jay Conlan.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. directly in Trumbull Congregational Church, 3115 Reservoir Ave, Trumbull, CT. Interment will follow in the St. Catherine of Siena Mausoleum in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
