Obituary of Lois L. Sorrentino

Lois (Levine) Sorrentino, age 74, of Derby, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at her home. She was the longtime partner of the late Louis S. Bruno, Jr.  Lois was a hairdresser by trade and early on in her working career had also worked as an EMT. She later worked for the City of Bridgeport Department of Aging and then went on to the Bridgeport Board of Education as a cafeteria manager with over 15 years of dedicated service before her retirement while building many friendships along the way. Lois loved the beach and also looked forward to any shopping spree that involved spending time with family or friends. She also enjoyed the opportunity to be pampered by having her hair and nails done. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Francine Carbone and her husband Bob of Milford and Jill Krok and her husband Steve of Wolcott, her adored grandchildren, James Carbone, Skylar Romsky, Ethan Krok and Amelia Krok.
