Dear Meredith, My father, Ken Cherry, asked me to let you know how sad he is to hear of your father's passing. He tried to call your dad a week or so ago and was sorry that that he couldn't reach him. My dad really enjoyed talking with your dad about gardening and the outdoors - and also about your wonderful mother! Your dad loved, admired and missed your mom so much.
Ken was very fond of both Bill and Lee. He worked with Lee for years at American Frozen Foods, and he always used to talk about what a capable, dependable, hard worker she was. Lee introduced Bill to Ken and they became fast friends. Bill and Ken did a lot of weekend landscape design projects at Ken's place in East Norwalk. I remember your dad being so sweet to me and very patient with my father ;) In fact, we still have an oil painting of me that your father painted and gave to my parents as a gift. Such a nice man! He will be missed.

We enjoyed watching him always playing with his daughter Meredith. My mother and I send our condolences to his family. God bless! The O’Leary’s
