Mary Ann & Donna,
I was saddened to hear about the passing of Connie a few days ago. Many, many good memories of her through the years, especially the four years of high school playing ball with Nick. She was always a great support at the games, full of energy and yelling her encouragement at every play. I always felt very close to your family and I will miss getting the updates on her condition and wellbeing. She was blessed to have two daughters who took such great care of her in her elder years. (spouses included) !!
Unfortunately I will be out of town this weekend at a wedding upstate so I will be missing the Mass on Saturday. However, my thoughts and prayers will be with her and your extended family. God bless Connie.

Fred Donna Maryann Jim Carmela Nicholas Gene&GenaMarie.
I’m so sorry to hear about Connie she was a wonderful lady, I remember going to Vincent’s Resturant over in Shelton with my Mother on Mother’s Day she was wearing a blue suit with a white blouse, Donna introduced us to her. She loved her pasta hotdogs and hamburegers she love to go out everyday and enjoy eating her lunch at Stratford Beach in Stratford she loved eating turkey at Thanksgiving&Christmas. She was never one to sit too long she would get up out of her chair&walk around on Maeyann’s&Jim’s deck Donna would say where are you going? She’d say I wanted to stretch my legs I thank her for thinking of me at Christmas time&my birthday she love buying jewlery for me. I also remember calling her miss America but she said I’m not&I said ot’s Connie Devtio she said that’s right. I would walk by her room&say hello Connie Devito she’d laugh wave&smile she was a lot of fun. Fred would bring us over to Olive Garden and she would order Cavitapy and then Riggatoni, When we were on our way home Fred would say this is friendly Freddy’s Chouffer Serviice he would ask her if she felt that bump&She would says she felt it on her Cooley it was so funny she cracked us up with laughter, She would ask me how much she paid for her purse&she said two bucks she loved watching old movies and I love Lucy. She was always an avid reader loved novels and she never put the book down until she got to the end, She love reading the newspaper and loved having company. She loved everyone that she knew and she will be missed. Rest in peace Connie. Sharon Held
