Obituary of Sharon O. Stolze

Sharon Owen Stolze, age 81, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20, 2024 with her loving sons by her side. Born on March 14, 1943, she was a daughter of the late John Patrick and Julia Namesnik Owen.

Sharon was a private banker, having been employed by the former CT National Bank and retired from Bank of America with over 25 years of dedicated service in the banking industry.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She treasured when the family was together making memories and was at her best when her grandchildren were by her side. The unconditional love she gave and the values she taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her three loving sons, Douglas Stolze and his wife Sharon, Andrew Stolze and his companion Andrea and Matthew Stolze and his wife Chin, four adored grandchildren, Hunter, Reilly, Lindsey and Owen, two sisters, Julianne Owen and Marsha Marshall, a brother, Gary Owen and his wife Margaret, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former spouse John P. Stolze.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 5 – 7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. At the family's request all other services and interment will be private.
