Obituary of Russell P. Alain

Russell P. Alain, Sr., age 63, of Beacon Falls, self employed owner and operator of R. Alain and Son Landscaping, died Wednesday, October 27, 2004 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on May 19, 1941, he was a son of the late Alexander and Mary Jane Hottotte Alain. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Jane Ann Fenusz Alain and a sister, Muriel Paternoster. Survivors include a son, Russell P. Alain, Jr. of Bridgeport, three daughters, Melissa T. Alain of Cromwell, Dawn M. White of West Haven and Christina Lage and her husband, Ivo of Bridgeport, a brother, Claude Alain of New Milford, sisters, Claire Tolmie of Woodbury and Louise Battaglia of Beacon Falls, four grandchildren, Russell P. Alain, III, Reyna J. Alain, Isabella Lage and Andrew Lage and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
