Dear Gale:
I’m Ken Bloom, the son of Arlene Bloom who was the patient across the hall from Bob’s at The Carolton. I was sorry to read the news about Bob, and I know this is a very sad time for you and your family. I hope that you are finding peace knowing that Bob is resting, finally, in peace himself and that you are surrounded by your loving family, some of whom we saw coming to visit you and Bob.
We certainly don’t know each other very well, but we both love our priceless and supportive families. I saw yours in action, for sure, but I saw you there, visiting Bob, every day during his hospice time. You are an inspiration to me, as a I take care of my mom.
My mom left The Carolton and returned to her assisted living place. Sad to report, she suffered another stroke and after another hospital visit, she’s back at her assisted living place but with hospice care now, herself, too. Your stalwart love and strength is an inspiration to me, now that I’m where you were.
God bless and may the memory of you Bob be a blessing.
