Obituary of Barbara Licursi

Devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother Barbara Pelle Licursi, age 64, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at St. Vincent Medical Center after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson Disease. Born in Bridgeport on August 3, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Gonci Pelle. After retiring from Sikorsky Aircraft, she was employed by the Trumbull Police Department as a crossing guard.She later worked at Sacred Heart University as an office manager in the nursing department. She will be sadly missed and always remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her devoted husband of 44 years, Jerry Lou Licursi, two loving sons, David Licursi of Trumbull and Richard Licursi and his wife, Heather, of Oxford, two cherished grandchildren, Brittany and Richie and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Laura Marie Licursi. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
