Obituary of Carol C. Naylor

Carol Cantrell Naylor, a beloved and longtime resident of Trumbull, Connecticut, passed away on June 8, 2024, after a period of illness. She was 81 years old. Born on December 24, 1942, Carol developed a deep passion for tennis and horses early in life.

Her enthusiasm for these pursuits was infectious, and she dedicated much of her life to sharing them with others. For many years, Carol taught tennis at the Trumbull YMCA, where she became a cherished mentor to countless youth in the community. Her dedication extended beyond the tennis courts, as she provided guidance and support, embodying the role of a mother figure to many.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, Kelvin and Esther (Raymond) Cantrell of New Canaan, Connecticut, and her son, Timothy C. Naylor of San Diego, California.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Tecci, and her sister, Lee Bouton, and her husband, Robert. Carol also leaves behind her devoted son, Craig Naylor, and his wife, Jennifer. Her legacy continues through her six beloved grandchildren: Trista, Timothy, Nicholas, Charles, James, and Henry.

Carol's warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and the many lives she touched through her work and community involvement.

Relatives and friends can greet the family on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. All other services and burial will be held privately for the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Trumbull YMCA, 20 Trefoil Drive, Trumbull, CT 06611, supporting the community she loved so dearly.
