Obituary of Sister Liliette Ouellette, SSND

Sister Liliette Ouellette, a School Sister of Notre Dame, died on May 16, 2024, in Venice, Florida. She was born in Dracut, Massachusetts on April 4, 1939.

Sister taught in Grand Rapids and Detroit, Michigan, and Chesterton, Indiana, and later at St. Stephen, Trumbull, Connecticut; and at St. Patrick, Glen Cove, and St. Brigid, Westbury.  She served as principal at St. Joseph School, Lake Ronkonkoma, and again as teacher at St. Martin of Tours School in Amityville, New York. In her retirement, Sister Liliette volunteered at St. Maximillian Kolbe in Venice, Florida, while residing in Port Charlotte.

A Wake Service at 10:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bethel.
