Obituary of Ronald Rodgerson

Ronald Rodgerson, age 76, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024, with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on February 19, 1948, he was a son of the late William V. and Ellen Aubin Rodgerson. He was a retired department manager for Sperry Rand Microwave and retired from St. Joseph's Manor. An Eagle Scout, he was a former president and senator of the Florida Chapter of JC's.

A hard-working man, he was a man of many tools and talents. Ron was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Ronald was someone you could always count on. The unconditional love he gave and values he taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his three loving children, Pamela Gasparrini and her husband Karl, Brian Rodgerson and his wife Marcella and Philip Rodgerson and his companion Nicole, two cherished grandchildren, Kyle and Sarah, a great granddaughter Emma, eight brothers and sisters, Arlene Rodgerson Volpe, William Rodgerson Jr., James Rodgerson and wife, June, Donald Rodgerson and wife JoAnne, Gary Rodgerson and wife Susie, Ellen Rodgerson Nelly and husband Joe; Alan Rodgerson and Dennis Rodgerson and wife, Sherry; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Mark and Kenneth Rodgerson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Theresa's Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
