I was shocked and sad to read Angelo’s obituary in The Fairfield County Catholic Newspaper. I have known Angelo all my life and shared the same Uncle Mario Cocco who married my father’s sister, Mickie Cocco. When I moved to Cold Spring, NY we had a 3 hour phone conversation sharing family memories, more memories, and more memories of: cousins, moving to the houses we lived in, Angelo’s long curly hair which his mother reluctantly cut when he went to kindergarten. His paternal grandmother, Evelyn, the Tomaiuolo family, our parents going to dances together,, growing up, teaching, the stock market, cleaning out our mother’s old glasses and dishes and weddings and funerals of family members. I extend my love and sympathy to his entire family. I know he is with the Lord

May you have eternal peace with Jesus Christ
I’m sure Anthony and Helen embraced you immediately as you entered heaven for eternity.

This is terrible news though I know that this faith-filled child of God is at peace in in God’s eternal kingdom. My mom (Dorothea Cueto) is not well, she’d be devastated if she was aware of Angelo’s passing We will remember him, his kindness and generosity in many of our thoughts and all of our prayers. Rest In Peace Angelo The Cueto and Mason Families

Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dear friend Angelo. He was not only a friend, he was our family. He took the role of grandfather to my son Gennaro since the day he was born. He was a kindhearted, loving, generous, compassionate, thoughtful, and gentle man. Thank you Angelo for being the best poppy to Gennaro and for loving him as much as you did. I pray that you are at peace with your family and friends that have gone before you. God chose you to come home on Good Friday and that’s what gives us peace that you are OK. We will miss you so deeply. Till we meet again, Angelo, WE LOVE YOU!

Angelo was loved and admired by the members of St, Margaret Shrine. He served as a Trustee for the many years. He delighted in teaching the young how to properly pass the collection basket, bring the gifts to the altar and genuflect in reverence. Angelo will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace. Tom and Lorraine Carrano
