Obituary of Ervin Jack Turner
Ervin Jack Turner, age 88, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of the late Kathleen E. Riess Turner, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on November 7, 1935, he was a son of the late Edward and Arline Hubbell Turner. A U.S. Airforce veteran, Jack was a retired Bus Driver for Laidlaw in Fairfield.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his loving children, Dawn Demers and her husband Ronald II, Chrissie Turner and Scott Turner and his wife Elizabeth, six cherished grandchildren, Brandon Demers, Ronald (R.J.) Demers III, Heaven Demers, Anthony Flathers (Selina), Jason Flathers (Laika) and Kaylee Turner, 11 adored great grandchildren, Noah, Abigail, Joshua (J.J.), Noah, Gabriel, Xavior, Levi, Lydia, Jaxon, Jerimiah and Giovanni, two sisters, Nancy Rivera and Elva Wassing, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by siblings, Edward Turner, Betty Turner, Marylou Hoffman, Curtis Turner and Fredrick Turner, Alice Ors.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 4th, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. directly in Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Tnpk., Fairfield. There are no calling hours.
