Lucille was a long-time dedicated member of the Christian Assembly Church in Stratford, where she held the position of treasurer for many decades. She also enjoyed working closely with the children of the church, teaching Sunday school and running Vacation Bible School camps.

Lucille was the life of the party, she enjoyed singing, dancing and hosting holidays, but her most favorite time was spent with immediate and extended family. She was best known for making a special connection with and spreading love to everyone she met.
