Obituary of Pasquale Marini

Pasquale Marini, age 79, of Dunedin, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Antonia (Pernaselci) Marini. Born in Frosinone, Italy on August 28, 1944, he was the son of the late Attilio and Anna (Turizziani) Marini.

Lino was a kind, charming soul with a warm smile who loved spending time with his family, friends and loved ones sharing stories. Immigrating from Italy to Montréal, Québec, and later to Bridgeport, Connecticut where he met his bride Antonia. They resided most of their lives in Milford, Connecticut with a recent move to Florida. An avid woodworker, he created beautiful homes and also cabinetry as the co-owner of Quality Kitchens, Milford, CT until retirement. He was always the first to volunteer to help a person in need and he lived life to the fullest every day. He prided himself on his incredible garden, delicious homemade wine, smooth golf swing, his ability to fix anything, beating everyone at Scopa, a quick wit that would make everyone laugh and an extra fishing pole ready for any opportunity to cast a line.   

In addition to his beloved wife Antonia, survivors include his three loving daughters and sons-in-law, Anna Marini (Roberto Ficorilli) of Saint-Jérôme, Québec, Julie Kimball (Jerry) of Odessa, FL, and Lori Marini (Daniel Rahmlow) of Dunedin, FL, three siblings, Gina Banfi and Fernando Marini of Frosinone, Italy and Domenica Marini of Trumbull, four beloved grandchildren, Fabio Ficorilli of Sainte-Sophie, Québec, Luigi Ficorilli of Saint-Jérôme, Québec, Andrew Kimball and Isabella Kimball of Odessa, FL and two cherished great-grandchildren with another on the way, Julianna Ficorilli and Gabriel Ficorilli of Sainte-Sophie, Québec as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Luigi Marini and Renato Marini.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street,Trumbull.
