Obituary of Ralph Vincent Saccone

Ralph Vincent Saccone, of Monroe, passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 83. He was born in Bridgeport on November 9, 1940, to the late Louis P. and Phyllis Cascella Saccone, and was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Kathleen Hawman Saccone. He is survived by daughter Kristine, son Kurt and his wife Lisa, grandchildren Alexandra, Christopher, and Katherine, and siblings Louis, Peter, and Phyllis.

He was a retired Westport Police Officer, a competitive tennis player, and a lifelong New York Yankees fan. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard. In retirement, he enjoyed spending winters at his home in Lake Wales, Florida with his wife Kathleen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on February 10 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Rd., Newtown. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on February 9 from 5:00 to 8:30 P.M. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
