Obituary of Teresa M. Vitello

Teresa M. DeMasi Vitello, age 96, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Anthony Vitello, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on February 12, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Nancy Imitazione DeMasi.

Teresa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She always put the needs of her family before her own. She cherished when her family was together, especially her grandchildren. The unconditional love she gave will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her two loving daughters, Lauren Pabis and her husband Thomas and Janet Piccirillo, four cherished grandchildren, Jason Piccirillo and his wife Heather, Michelle Piccirillo and her fiancé Timothy Aronson, David Pabis and his wife Sara and Adam Pabis and his wife Jessica, five adored great grandchildren, William, Guiliana, James, Grace and Jarred, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, William Piccirillo and 7 brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. At Teresa's request there will be no calling hours.
