Obituary of Nancy Dunn Griffiths

Nancy Dunn Griffiths of Shelton, CT passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023 at the age of 81. Born on August 10, 1942, in Bridgeport, CT. She was the daughter of Polish immigrants Benjamin and Josephine (Zima) Kielbus. Nancy was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School Fairfield and Sacred Heart University. Nancy was a long-time member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Nichols and a proud founding member of the choir.

Nancy is survived by her daughters and their families Deborah and Michael Okolovitch of Stratford and Kathleen and Thomas Richmond of Colorado. Granddaughter's Michaela Richmond of Frisco, TX, Morgan Richmond of Kyle, TX, and Maeve Richmond of Colorado. A sister Kristine Varnum of Fairfield and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, her husbands, Michael P. Dunn and Evan Griffiths, and her brother Benjamin Kielbus. The family wishes to recognize and thank the caring and loving staff at Brightview.

All are invited attend a Mass of Christian of Burial on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
