Obituary of Albert Louis Cologgi

Albert Louis Cologgi, age 65 of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side He was the beloved longtime companion of Lisa Toth. Born in Bridgeport on June 15, 1958, he was the son of the late Albert Louis and Marie (Mottola) Cologgi.

Before his retirement Louis was an extremely talented fine finish carpenter and cabinet maker for many years. Louis was a kind, helpful, thoughtful and generous man who was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was one of those guys everyone wanted to be around, his infectious laugh and smile always managed to get those around him laughing. Wherever he was he always knew someone because he had longstanding friendships with so many people. One of his greatest passions was fishing, but outside of everything his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He loved his family, especially his granddaughters, and cherished all the time spent with them. They will never forget the fairy house he meticulously built for them in their yard. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In addition to Lisa, he also leaves a step daughter, Jessica Zervos and her husband Anthony, sisters, Colleen Mucci and her husband Barry and Jody Biebel and her husband Ken, two cherished granddaughters, Elliana and Seraphina, nieces, Maggie, Malorie and Natalie, a nephew, Spencer and two great nieces, Leora and Lilly.
