Obituary of Michael R. Leka

Trumbull Resident LEKA Michael R. Leka, age 66, of Trumbull, died suddenly on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born on June 21, 1940 in New York, NY, he was a son of Dhimetra Pani Leka of Salisbury, CT and the late Theodore Leka and was a retired manager for the Raytheon Co. Mr. Leka was a proud member of the Park City Pride Drum Corp. and was also an avid fisherman. Michael was very devoted to the love and care of his family and will be sadly missed. In addition to his mother, survivors include his devoted wife of 42 years; Lillian Gaudett Leka, his cherished daughter, Michele Lewis and her husband James of Sound Beach New York, two brothers, Paul Leka and his wife Angie of Sharon, George Leka and his wife Geraldine of Trumbull, a sister, Evelyn Kreta and her husband Fr. John Kreta of Sharon, mother in law Helen Gaudett of Trumbull and many cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law as well as many dear friends. Funeral Information Relatives and friends are invited to meet DIRECTLY in St. George Albanian Orthodox Church, 5490 Main St., Trumbull on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. for funeral services. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A memorial service will take place at 7 pm in the funeral home on Tuesday.
