Obituary of Donna L. Orrico

Donna L. Griswold Orrico, age 70, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 49 years to Aldo Orrico. Born in Stamford, CT on March 31, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Lorraine (Horton) Griswold and was a longtime resident of Stamford before moving to Trumbull.

Donna was a woman of great faith and an active parishioner of St. Theresa Church in Trumbull and spent countless hours volunteering at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She enjoyed quilting, reading a good book and casino trips with her husband and family but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Aldo, survivors include two loving children, Rebecca Orrico and Timothy Orrico and his wife Denise, a sister, Deborah Botticelli (Peter Bogiatzidis), three brothers, Jonathan Griswold (Dorothy), Christopher Griswold (Rhonda), David Griswold (Nancy) and three cherished grandchildren, Mia, Charlie & Owen Orrico as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will be private. Friends may greet the family Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
