Obituary of Marion LeDonne

Marion Ennaco LeDonne, age 91 and a longtime resident of Trumbull, CT, passed away on March 8, 2010. Born to Arthur and Carmella Ennaco in May 1918, Marion grew up in Bridgeport and graduated Magda Cum Laude from Harding High school, Bridgeport, CT. She was always known for her charm, winning smile and as a lady of great style. A woman with many accomplishments to her credit, she and her husband, Michael Mickey LeDonne, founded and co-owned a music store and local school of music in Bridgeport, CT, LeDonnes Music Box. The store supplied much of surrounding communities of Fairfield County with musical instruments and will be remembered for its musical recitals, and the musical enhancement of its patrons and students alike. Marion was beloved by her family, friends and the communities of Bridgeport and Trumbull, CT. Both towns knew of her abilities to give back to their community through her charitable efforts. Marion actively served as President of the Ladies Guild and President of the PTA of Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport, CT, where she was a member of. Later in life she supported and attended St. Judes Parish in Monroe, CT. As one of the developing founders of the Italian Community Center, Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT, she served as President of the Italian Community Centers Ladies Guild and was named Woman of the Year in 1973. Many galas and other fund raising efforts, for the betterment of the Italian community of Fairfield county, were organized and led by her. Marion is survived and will be greatly missed by her three loving children, Renee LeDonne of Monroe, CT, Michelle Reichert of Newtown, CT, and Michael LeDonne of New York, NY, as well as six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
